Evaluation
Starting this unit I researched numerous street and professional artist that aligned with the concept being born digital, such as artist as Banksy, Charlie Brooker e.g. Also to gather research I created a quick brainstorm mind map.
Furthermore to plan out my work for production I decided to produce a Pitch for my work and explain how the upcoming use of technology is convenient but also dangerous. I explained the pros and cons of using technology excessively. This was followed by my action plan were I explained how and why I’m doing my brief.
In addition I created a poster on Photoshop correlating to the addictive power our mobile phones have on us, then also evaluating the steps and how I done it.
I then took photos of members of public in an ordinary atmosphere being somewhat consumed by their phones and technology devices for my Photo Essay.
I visited areas such as Camden library and Kings cross station acknowledging that area would be populated with people when initially deciding were to shoot the photographs.
I also had to consider camera positioning and angles to ensure I had some Birdseye view shots with also some close up shots.
My strengths when pursuing this unit ranged in my Photography and use of Photoshop skills which made my content look high in standard and professional. What I would like to improve on next time I meet a task like this would be my time management skills, this is so I can produce work in a more convenient and spaced time.
